For beginners, SDEN2 is a good first step into the world of wine. In SDEN2, the book ‘I know more about wine’ is central. During the wine course, you will be introduced to the most important grape varieties, wine regions, and winemaking techniques.

  • Five evenings, start: January 6th, 2025
  • Instructors: Nadien de Visser & Bram Faber
  • Classroom lessons at Proef bij Platenburg in Rotterdam
  • Monday from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm at the latest
  • An average of eight wines per class evening
  • Includes snacks during the wine and food pairing evening

What does SDEN2 look like?

SDEN2 consists of five evening classes from 19:30h till 22:30h.
Instructors: Bram Faber & Nadien de Visser

Can I catch up a missed class?

In theory yes, but there is a maximum number of people in terms of space and wine and we don’t offer English classes regularly (yet). You can always send a substitute, though.

Is the official exam included?

No, experience shows that not everyone wants to do that. That’s why we have chosen to offer the course without an official exam. You can request this yourself from the Wijnacademie or the Wine Institute. Please note; the official paper is not necessary to participate in SDEN3.
